Becker Nachrichtentechnik GmbH offers a large portfolio of high performance broadband RF amplifiers. Optimized for linearity, high dynamic range and low noise, they cover all widely used radio standards like cellular, satellite radio, TETRA/BOS, GNSS, GPS, 802.11, including the new bands for LTE-U. They amplify wideband radio signals from shortwave over UHF, VHF up to 18 GHz in 50 Ohm technology (I-band, G-band, P-band, L-band, S-band, C-band and X-band). They are used as compact RF drivers, antenna pre-amplifiers or RF boosters in a variety of applications ranging from tunnel radio coverage extension, over airspace radio monitoring to in-ear monitoring and can also be offered as 1U 19” rack variants. Due to their advanced design, the power consumption is significant lower than typical industry alternatives, saving cost at customers with respect to cooling.

Universal 19" Device Platform for AMP Amplifier Modules
The AMP LR SERIES is a 19" 2U universal amplifier rack device platform. The customer has the option of either configuring up to four amplifiers of the same frequency range in order to increase the output power, or freely combining up to four amplifiers of different frequency bands as a multi-channel setup.
All modules are powered from a central AC power source and have N-type coaxial connectors on the back panel. Most of them have a DB9 connector for a contact closure interface to monitor device status.
Universal Heat Sink for AMP-L Amplifier Modules
Universal Heat Sink UHS-1 is a compact heat sink for cooling of medium and high-power amplifier modules from Becker Nachrichtentechnik. Up to two different AMP-L modules can be flexibly attached to the flat side of the heat sink. With the option of installing up to six fans, high cooling performance can be achieved. If active cooling is required for the customer application, the cooler will be delivered with pre-installed fans. The heatsink is also supplied individually prepared with captive screws depending on customer requirements. On the bottom side is has holes for mounting in housings by the customer.
